Welcome to Harome Parish Community Hall

Harome village hall is a community hub, offering hire of the hall and a marquee, a venue for regular clubs and classes, as well as hosting a variety of events year-round. We offer a warm welcome to all parish residents, and to visitors from further afield. The hall is in a beautiful village location with views across the fields to the North York Moors. Hirers benefit from car parking, a picnic and play area and a fully equipped kitchen. We are well located, just a few minutes drive from our local market towns of Helmsley and Kirkbymoorside.

Free access to superfast WiFi for all hirers and visitors. The hall can accommodate 60 seated theatre style; 120 standing / for a buffet and 60 for a sit down meal / refreshments. Furniture available consists of 107 upholstered Chairs, 40 plastic, 18 6ft folding tables and 5 4ft tables.

Our fully equipped kitchen has a large fridge, full size oven and 4-ring hob, microwave, kettle and water boilers. There is white crockery and cutlery for 60 people with additional tea pots, serving dishes etc. A first aid kit is kept in the kitchen. We can offer hire of a sound system and microphone. Additionally, we have a 5 metre wide by 10 metre length marquee (2 metres high, 2.75 metre ridge height) which can be hired for outdoor seating. NB this must be erected and dismantled by the hirer. There are male, female and disabled WCs.

There is a dedicated car park and on street parking in the village. Outside we have a new picnic and play area, making an ideal venue for family occasions. There is a covered outdoor seating area with benches overlooking the sports field and large glazed doors can be opened to offer easy access outside in good weather. Fire extinguishers are located throughout the building.
